Chilaquiles Verdes


  • 200 grams of La Costena Salsa Verde (Green Salsa), alternatively you can also use red salsa

  • 100 grams of shredded cheddar cheese

  • 50 grams of thickened cream

  • 50 grams of sour cream

  • 1/2 cup of chopped onion 

  • 1/2 cup of chopped coriander

  • 2 eggs

  • Vegetable oil


  1. Reheat the salsa in a pot or saucepan until steam starts coming out

  2. Mix together the thickened and sour cream to create a cream similar to Mexican crema

  3. Place the tortilla chips in a bowl with the cheese and mix them together

  4. Pour the salsa on the tortilla chips and cheese mix and toss until salsa has covered all tortillas chips

  5. Serve on a plate and garnish with Mexican cream mix, onion, and coriander on top

  6. Fry the eggs with a bit of oil and put on top of the chilaquiles

    Tip: you can also use shredded chicken mixed in with the cheese and tortilla chips
