Salsa Verde

A 2-step salsa that is very simple to make but will impress everyone for its unique flavour. Make sure you get some fresh tomatillos if you can.

  • Blender


  • 500 g fresh tomatillos substitute with a tin of tomatillos of 750 g
  • 1 coriander bunch
  • 1/2 white onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 4 jalapeños substitute with green chillies
  • salt to taste
  • olive oil


  • Wash the coriander, jalapeños, tomatillos. If using tin tomatillos drain them and wash them.
  • In a blender add the tomatillos first followed by the rest of the ingredients. Add olive oil and salt to taste. Blend until smooth
